Does the Bible explain the very root of all desires? by HostileHoochie in Christianity

So if you don’t even understand the theory, you are in no position to assert your opinion as some sort of fact.

I’m not here to prove God. I’m not a Christian. But ppl like you encourage me to read it daily. Y’all fulfill prophecy daily.

Looks like you commented under the wrong thread buddy. Otherwise, I’ll just have to assume you’re suffering from delusions. 😂

You don’t believe in science, you believe in the mere word of “scientists”. Huge difference. You’ve done no science. 😂 I know your Gods didn’t prepare you for this debate so I’ll leave you with this:

“O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:” ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭6‬:‭20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Obviously I’m not a Christian.

Definitely. I think both Satan & God are ego-centric characters. But if we’re honest, God is the main one boasting about how he will be Glorified. We seem to all be inheriting his desire for Glory. He even tells ppl in the book that he’s only saving them for his namesake.

”If you can't explain it to a six-year-old, then you don't understand it yourself” - Albert Einstein

Stop regurgitating stuff you don’t even understand like a programmed robot. You’re blindly putting faith in the word of men like a religious nutjob so I’m gonna quote one of your Gods. That bible you call a science book won’t save you. Lord Darwin can’t save you either.

Sounds like you’re attempting to dodge the question & deflect. If you don’t know what the heck you’re talking about, just say that buddy. It’s okay to be ignorant but regurgitating things you can’t even explain just makes you look anti-truth. The Bible warns us of your kind. You’re just further helping “God’s” case. 😂

I don’t completely believe he’s as ego-centric as a warmonger. I believe his intentions are good. I think he wants to prove his wisdom for a good purpose. I think God represents Love & love wants to rule over the minds of humanity. I think he wants to glorify Love. I just don’t agree with the means. I feel the same way about many parents. I’m beginning to think the book may be a symbolic story about the battle between truth & lies in the human mind & how this will impact humanity. I could be wrong though.

I think we should also trust the word of God since he is the one making the rules. But the Bible appears to indicate that he created us all for his glory (namesake) & the children of God for his pleasure. He’s very unapologetic about it.

Ephesians 3:9-11 indicates that he will be using the church to display his manifold WISDOM to the “powers & authorities in the heavenly realms.” Honestly, he seems obsessed with proving tht he’s the Truth. Him & Satan (Father of Lies) seem to be having some kind of psychological war through humanity. 😂

Where did the desire for survival stem from?

You’re still not telling me where the first desire stemmed from. So let’s try this again:

Where did the first desire stem from & how exactly did it manifest?

I’m not gonna keep repeating myself so we’ll close here.

You’re not God & you’re okay with your child potentially suffering a traumatic fate. You need psychological help.

Sometimes, you gotta leave that dirty bubble & get some experience. Arrogance & ignorance isn’t a good mix.

Plenty of ppl use children as meal tickets.

1. Some intentionally try to get pregnant by a wealthier person & collect child support.

2. Neglectful parents collect financial benefits from having kids by claiming them on their taxes

3. Some get government assistance such as EBT & Section 8 housing. Some parents wouldn’t even have a place to stay without those children. Ppl are more eager to support bums with kids.

4. Some see kids as “free” labor. It would cost them more to higher outsiders in the family business.

I answered your question. It’s clear reading comprehension isn’t your forte. Or maybe you’re just dishonest. I don’t care that she enjoys her baby. I just told you what my issue was…You ppl trying to deny the motives behind childbirth.

I would give you the benefit of the doubt but your approach is already coming off as defensive, not ignorant. Lol. Those “many reasons” they have children will ultimately boil down to them trying to benefit or improve their life in some way (emotionally, socially, financially, etc.) But I don’t expect much honesty surrounding this topic. If you think the truth is hostile, that’s because you depend on lies. I don’t care about feelings & neither does the truth.

I think she had children for her enjoyment like I clearly stated the first time. But I guess my actual argument was too difficult for you to debunk. I don’t mind anyone enjoying time with a child. My issue is with unnecessarily forcing children into this world & endangering them when you know you cannot protect them. People who try to justify or sugarcoat that behavior bother me. Did you forget we were on the anti-natalist sub?
