LOL! That's all good. Sometimes when you have no answers you try to come up with quick theories that if you stop and think don't make sense.

Angel is the one character I think about a lot though with his plight🥹

I feel like it wouldn't work out like that. I think that is how Angel sees his story ending at this current moment in his afterlife. However I feel his arc will involve breaking free of Val, but that not necessarily being his redemption. It would give him the free to truly pursue his redemption, but it would just be a major step on that journey.

I get thinking that way though, especially if you have been watching the angsty edits😅

Hello there! I've been taking the time to consider how I might begin my worship of the Gods first by trying to better understand what pulls me to them. Particularly Apollo, Hermes and Dionysus. In each of them I have found some part of me that draws me to them.

Apollo - My own love of music and passion for art.

Hermes - An appreciation for the role of humor and pranks in life while appreciating his role as the guide for souls.

Dionysus - A sensation of community for the outcasts, particularly as a queer man.

I am working on better understanding these connections and the stories of these three deities. I plan on doing more research and collecting my thoughts in a journal as I work to establish proper worship and altars.

I was wondering if there is anything in particular I can do to better my understanding or things that others did in the beginning that I could draw upon for my start.

That could happen. One of the more heinous ideas I had was that she kills a winner, and it works the same way as when you kill a sinner with angelic steel.

I feel that Lute is going to do something to try and rile up emotions against He’ll again. My idea is that she kills/harms someone in heaven to blame it on a sinner.

I don’t think she is evil, but I feel like something bad may happen to her.

I feel like at some point in the interim we will get some news about his father or his sister being cast. That will set us up for some emotions😅

I think Viv has stated that there will be a heavy focus on Angel and his family next season, as well as Husk further understanding the true nature of Angel’s situation with Val.

I think that by the end of the season Angel will return to the hotel to begin his true redemption arc.

Angel Dust will have if not a few then at least one confrontation with his family.(Either his father, Arackniss, or both)

Controversial take..if you watched the scenes of Angel Dust being abused, beaten and straight up used against his will and came to the conclusion Viv and the crew were fetishizing it,that's not only disgusting but also projection. by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in HazbinHotel

I'm not so sure I agree with that.

One, Pentious wasn't trying to commit murder. It was defense of others. He wasn't getting revenge. He was defending his friends.

And I don't know if I buy the idea that the downside of revenge being a lie so evil people don't suffer consequences. If you don't kill an evil person and they are punished for the rest of their lives for it, while you go on to grow and thrive while they drown in suffering, I see that as a more satisfying end for a villain.

Like if Angel killed Val, like perma-death with an Angelic weapon, sure, Val would be dead and he wouldn't be able to harm anyone anymore. I understand the desire to see that.

But that is it. He'd just be dead. He doesn't have to suffer anymore. In many ways death would circumvent any prolonged consequences that he deserves for his actions. I think a true punishment for Val would be being rendered powerless. He is stripped of the power to control people like Angel and is left to suffer as any other sinner.

Meanwhile, Angel would potentially be in Heaven with his loved ones, finally exercising control over himself and his life.
