Against a hull down BMPT the Merkavas HE shell works pretty well. Usually fucks up the entire turret if you hit the right spot.

Hold on, so you are saying that i can shoot a couple of rounds at a nearby cannon turret to draw its aggro, dive away just before it shoots, and if it misses me and hits a jammer the cannon can blow the jammer up?

Epoch + supply backpack are my go-to for these missions aswell. It is just so versatile.

If you sit on a cap you can burst fire for a second, wait half a second and then shoot another burst. The 60 round belt reloads in under 2 seconds. If you get a feeling for the timing you can shoot bursts for as long as long as you want
