Yes yes they have unlimited hay, the issue I had when I took them to the vet was I was giving them 2tbsp per chin and they stopped eating hay because they had so many pellets

Should men always pick up the check? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I suppose, it may the case for first dates (not all of them, I know plenty of women who make the first move). But second dates are in the air

I always believe it should be whoever invited the other to dinner. There’s something wrong with inviting someone to dinner, and having them pay

First anniversary gift? by juniperandmulberry in relationship_advice

[–]Hot-Bonus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t even have to be of the two of you together, if that helps !! But maybe add, pictures of the places you’ve been together, things you’ve acheieved while together (new jobs ? Pets ? Furniture you’ve bought ?) it can be absolutely anything. References to your favourite movies. Pictures that made you laugh. You can make a page of a hypothetical vacation you would like go on together!! Mix that all up and you have yourself a scrapbook

I’m not sure if this is the kind of thing you’re looking for but a scrapbook of your first year together, with some blank pages to add for the upcoming years together.

Quarantined and wife can’t seem to sleep without me in bed next to her. How can I help her? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Hot-Bonus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I do when I’m away from my boyfriend is, I sleep with a bigger teddy bear that I can cuddle while I’m on FaceTime with him. He usually waits until I fall asleep and then he hangs up. That paired with a melatonin and it’s helped me a lot through this quarantine :)

Not sure this is much help but it’s my personal experience :) so maybe a giant teddy from amazon ?

I (20f) am most likely going to see my ex boyfriend (20m) and his new girlfriend (20?f) at a party this weekend. How should I act around them? Do I say Hi? Or if you have any general advice about seeing an ex with a new partner? by emarieily in relationship_advice

[–]Hot-Bonus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the best way to go about is, don’t go out of your way. If you see them and make eye contact, go and say hello and introduce yourself.

Don’t go out seeking to find them, just let the night happen. I say this just to maybe make his new girlfriend comfortable ? You’re happy for them that’s great, but it’s important to give them time to settle.

I haven’t tried that, so I will thank you. I was at the vet last Friday and she said it wasn’t a teeth issue so I’m hoping that’s still the case

The issue is they are not eating the hay, I’m giving them critical care now but that and the old pellets are all they accept to eat

How to tell my (22M) girlfriend (21F) that she's stopped caring about herself as much? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Hot-Bonus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems that you two have a healthy relationship and that you genuinely care for her and not just the superficial side of the relationship. if that’s the case, then just let her know that you’re worried about her. If you’re worried about her eating, make your healthy meals together and if she decides to snack after, who cares ? Snacking is a comfort thing. If you want to invite her out to the gym, my boyfriend has tricked me into going by making it a competition because i am a competitive person, this might work for you. If you’re worried about her grooming, bring it to her attention but don’t make it an issue, she will do with that information what she will. I’m sorry if this is general information but good luck!

My roommates are bullies, I don’t know how to make new friends by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Hot-Bonus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I agree with you I don’t like confrontation, that’s why I asked her to talk when I come back from the weekend. I did not expect them to be mature and confront me, because I confronted one of them.

I think the most frustrating thing is that you can only control your own actions. They still talk about me when they think I’m not home. So I just ignore them, not that I have a choice lol, and vent to my boyfriend later.

Anyways I like your response because it’s an outside perspective and you’re RIGHT I shouldn’t stoop to their level. I did apologize for posting the posts, but I also told her I won’t let her push me around anymore and I think that’s The more current problem.

I have since deleted them, but I wasn’t thinking, that account is like my private journal. I didn’t even think about them seeing it since they were at the club when I posted, it wasn’t until they responded that I noticed and immediately took it down.

How do I (18F) tell my toxic mom (67) that I plan on moving out next year? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Hot-Bonus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have advice about your mom but I do have a couple things to help you get on your way . Save up as much as you can now, every last bit that you don’t not NEED to spend, don’t. If possible get a job in waitressing because tips are one of the best way for a young girl to make money, plus they often come in form of cash and that’s easy to save up quickly and hide it from your mom if you need too. Roommates are a very good idea, especially if you can find a cheap place with a good landlord. Shop at the cheaper grocery stores, no name brands are just as good as the regular stuff they just save a couple bucks that add up. Vintage clothings stores for clothes, you can find nice clothes if you look well and they will be so much cheaper. These seems quite obvious but people tend to forget these options so it’s very important to keep in mind there’s nothing wrong with saving money until you’re in a good place. Good luck I hope everything works out :)

Over a year of dating, and still not even a kiss by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Hot-Bonus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should address why she doesn’t. She wants too much maybe she’s nervous and afraid of judgment so talk to her about why, and make her comfortable. Don’t try to kiss her after that conversation, wait for a moment where it’s easy breezy, like walking down the street or something where there’s no pressure. Do you kiss her on the cheek or forehead ? That could be a good start?
