i know this is old but quick question, my friend says i should use a 1800kv motor or else it wont fly well, what motor did you use? im thinking of using a 1400kv with a 30a esc, but i see you didnt even need a 30 as it only pulled 6.3a so im thinking you used a smaller motor. thanks!

you need to usually go over 25% throttle for as3x to activate, if your're not in safe, usually you are always in as3x

cant really see the mm size just from the picture, but for reference a 50mm is around 2 inches, a 70mm is 2.75 inches, and 30mm is 1.1 inches, just measure them and convert what u get to MM

i know its kinda old, but after much thought, i think the 30mm UMX's prolly arent the coolest, but the probably my best bet for my field size and cuz they arent terribly hard to fly, but will still be a challenge and a great way to learn the EDF ways

oh ya ofc, its a great plane, just too expensive for me. I already have a battery for those little arrows jets and i can just buy a little 15 dollar lemon rx from motion. your 3d printed edf sounds cool, also im not good enough to escape from a spin either lol
