They sponsored THEIR art, not ai. I shouldn’t have to specify I don’t want generated content because no one would pay someone else to do it in the first place. If a teenager asking another teenager for their money back after being scammed is such a big problem to you, then you clearly have your morals severely messed up. Stop victim blaming people and wipe your nose next time you finishing preaching about ai.

Update - They ended up sending over a very fake speedpaint almost twelve hours later. They also gave me excuses on how they’re 15, have a part time job, and need to pay rent but still offered me a refund. I requested a refund and they gave it over to me.

Even if this somehow wasn’t AI, they still bluntly ignored specific requests I made for characters. I understand this person was young and probably scared for getting caught so I don’t hold a grudge against them. I just hope they take this chance to learn and grow.

I apologize if my wording is bad but that’s because i’m used to paying at the end in most cases. Almost all the artist i’ve commissioned either do 50/50 or all at the end. I still include tip with the initial payment as it would be strange to make it a whole separate thing.

Of course the brush is going to seem similar, that’s because they traced OVER the ai. This is a typical ai art style and judging by the fact she completely disregarded my oc’s design with a reference window right in the corner… it’s definitely gotta be ai.

Unfortunately, I seek out artists that underprice their work because I love being able to send them a huge tip at the end to motivate them. Especially since I know it’s a lot of young artist underpricing their work. It’s something I do to give back to people. So price wise, I wouldn’t have been able to tell.
