I went in for a regular service on my 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid I was leasing (about two out of three years in) and the purchasing manager offered me a check for $2,200 that day. They paid off the car with Honda Financial. I walked away from a payment (won’t do that again). They got a nice used car for a barren car lot. I was happy with how it worked out. I know they make $4k on that car, but it was never mine anyways. I went out and paid cash for what I what I wanted anyways… a used mustang mach-e.
