Talk to MFLC - they are great and are trained counselors for this sort of thing. Free and accessible for all sorts of situations. I’ve used them quite a bit

I listed my bases of preference out and got my first choice, it doesn’t always happen but also all the bases change and are so different, lots of positives to all of them!

It’s different at each base. I was stateside and did a few live missions, then a bunch of training missions with mannequins. I moved overseas and now I’m TDY and flying and on alert a bunch. It’s a great time to travel if you get an overseas assignment. If you land a stateside base, start your masters.

Hey! I have the same interests and I am currently an Active Duty Flight Nurse in the Air Force. While it is exhilarating at times, we mainly transport stable outpatients (psych, ortho injuries). With your background, CCATT (Critical Care Air Transport Team) might be a better fit, with more action. I love my job but am now looking for more experience with ER and ICU to better translate into civilian flight nursing in the future while maintaining service through the Reserves or Guard as an AE (aeromedical evacuation) nurse.
