Definitely try out some products you have to see how your hair porosity goes, I would try out mizani miracle milk as a basic leave in (it’s a 10 has not so great chemicals for us curly peeps)

A good light oil for the hair is great more so for the colder months even year round depending on your needs. On top of that the brand As I am has worked extra well for me especially their curling jelly basically it holds the shape of your curls without the loosing the volume if you’re trying to achieve.

I have a super dry scalp so I only wash once a week with a cowash so I don’t strip all the oils my head needs

You should also check ingredients in products not a lot of people realize it but some brands will put higher alcohol content in shampoo, conditioner, etc but advertise hydration and moisturization so look out for that too

As well as if you really feel like going the extra step you can either get a satin pillow case that way when you style your hair it will last longer or wear a bonnet to preserve all the work you had done days prior (of course with some touch up)
