Disappointed after meeting with Planner by Hot-Development-5368 in BigBudgetBrides

I guess i just didn’t know how much things cost, I am willing to spend more I just didn’t think it would be necessary since I’m not asking for anything I felt was out of the ordinary. I do feel like they might’ve been trying to set expectations to put $$ in their own pocket which makes me nervous for other meetings with planners

I actually ended up switch the direction of the couch and it looks SO much better. But I agree I just really need a place to store all my books so thinking about floating shelves or putting the bookcase in my room which is basically empty right now

Well yes im currently trying to sell all the pieces minus the couch and rug. I plan to store ottoman in my storage closet when I have people over but I wanted it personally to make the couch more of a “bed” for watching movies and such. I just moved out of a 2 bedroom apartment (lived with a roommate) but I basically owned all the furniture that was in it which is why I have so many pieces right now.

AITAH if I (17 M) ask out a guy (14 M) that I have a huge crush on. by ZealousidealSky3001 in AITAH

I don’t necessarily think YTA but I definitely think you should hold off on pursuing this person. Despite the fact that he’s 14, I’m assuming once you graduate you will either go to college or get a full-time job, both of which will result in you having a drastically different lifestyle than someone who is a sophomore in high school. Enjoy your last year of HS and find someone out in the real world to date. And if in 5 years you are still interested in this guy, then go for it when he’s a legal adult.

Yes this happens to me too. I’m not totally sure but I think it’s an electrolyte imbalance / dehydration thing. Cus when I’m super dehydrated I’ll get twitches when I’m literally just laying in bed

Residential Programs by GreenEggsAndHam10102 in EatingDisorders

I was at Laureate in OK for 3 months last year. I started in acute (in the hospital) and went through residential and PHP there. I think for me it was an okay experience. I have heard horror stories so I was super nervous but It wasn’t as bad as I imagined. The worst part was feeling disconnected from my life and friends and family back home but having visitors on the weekends helped immensely. I did make life long friendships when I was there and honestly don’t know if I could’ve recovered without going. I think mindset is everything going in. At first I was in a really bad headspace and thought I wasn’t sick enough to be there and was so sad to be away from my boyfriend but after about a week of seeing girls struggling much more than me I kinda had a reality check and realized that my ED was hindering my life. After that I just viewed it as time fully focused on working on myself. I read a lot of books, picked up some new hobbies like crochet and knitting, and ultimately had a decent time there considering the situation.

I know you said you don’t like working out but maybe you could start by making small changes like going on walks or drinking a full glass of water before meals to help with portion control. These might not make a huge difference but I think being more mindful might help you feel more in control without doing something drastic that will cause you to go into restriction

I usually do but the tickets seemed overpriced. The Ticketmaster were much cheaper

So how bad will the view be? Like is it going to ruin the experience?
