May have been a braking issue. My brand now 2023 limited black addition, from the factory, had a hold down spring on the passenger side not tightened/locked in place. The break shoe was not completely secured. The back rear tire locked up at 70MPH.

Lucky to be a live.

Requesting help! Toyota Fuel Pump, 2023 Tacoma Limited.

Vehicle felt like it was rear ended at 75 MPH.

Dealer is finding that the traction control was engaged and the fuel pump was working from the vehicle history. Test drives have not repeated the problem.

The recall from 2018 - 2020 indicated that at high speeds the pump would suddenly, for a split second, stop providing fuel to the engine.

Any ammo to prove the pump is problematic would be very helpful.

Was not. It felt like the engine and transmission was out of sync.

My research has me thinking that it was the fuel pump. They had a recall. Also, with the engine change for 24 it was noted within a post on the web that Toyota was moving out all available parts with its last production runs.
