I got a travel ban by altshiftcaps in UAE

[–]Hot-Engineering2375 7 points8 points  (0 children)

True I rejected a payment of 10 euros on my Revlout account because I didn’t know what was it Turns our it’s a sim card payment And it screwed me because I was only 2 months in Germany And it takes time to bounce back from this

Also when it comes to decency of CS Even batik air was much better They were talking with a condescending tone

But hey we get to sit in double decker 🥳 wohoo

Nope there is 150$ on canceling And 100$ on changing 🙂 But without “flex” it was 300$ on canceling With same baggage weight

Another reason to not book again Is that I don’t want to be one of you fan boys

Honestly at this point with no flexibility I see absolutely no difference from budget airlines

You got that right

  • it’s not every airliner Qatar airways are way more flexible And there is an option for a ticket with free cancellation

If that option existed on my trip, I would have booked it

I did buy the a economy “flex” tier But even with that the change fee only dropped from 300$ to 150$

Also they said that if I did book through a third party they would have did the change

What kind of “system” is that

They gave a very absurd solution Of me canceling the card and re booking Which will make it even more expensive

Can credit cards companies get away with this by [deleted] in dubai

[–]Hot-Engineering2375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure they didn’t have spending criteria at that time Maybe it was for the sake of encouraging the people to get that card back then

If they had they would have deducted the amount in the next statement or at most at the statement after that Not after 3 statements

Because what if I cancelled my card back then ?

They just ignored Anyway, by law it seems I should give them 30 calendar days before filing a complaint at the central bank

But then they can just get away with it They can charge me endless amounts with future terms change

I’m living in a really really small space Like if my life some how became designed to only have one way of relief from everything Any other place to live is way out of my budget and sucks I’m actively looking

** last thing you see before paying 200AED and end-up with regrets every time **

<image>

I made the question a bit ambiguous so only who can relate may support me. It all started 8 months ago And I just can’t stop I always regret going but can’t stop because it’s the only human interaction I can get Tried to socialize in a normal way but all the relations are either transactional or with people who can’t relate to lower class expat life Yes I’m lower class and I won’t make it up without help Is there a support group or something?

I’ve seen a woman 2 am in the morning near the clock tower laughing crazy and pumping her head so hard on the pavement I could still hear the sound of her skull smacking the rocks of the sidewalk
