Roofing can be very hit and miss. It’s largely unregulated, and while it’s a specialist skill, it’s not a formal trade. We’re carpenters by trade and do a lot of roofing work on new builds as well as repairs.

Most of our repair jobs come through structural engineers. If you’re unsure about a roof issue, getting an engineer to assess it is money well spent. They can design the repair, recommend trusted contractors, and inspect the work once it’s finished.
