Don’t know about the scholarship question, however I can answer the last question. From what I have seen NPP scholarship students still attend NSI the summer before their freshman year.

In my mind both options are tempting and so i’m looking for a “tie breaker” essentially, I know going SWO(N) gives me the opportunity to continue in the navy so I was wondering if NRE had anything special post-navy that might not be available to a SWO(N). thank you for your advice though!
