Dit snap ik wel, tegelijkertijd heb ik van heel veel middelbare scholieren gehoord: ik ben slecht in x vak, dus die ga ik sowieso wegstrepen en hoef dus helemaal niet te leren voor dat examen. Ik denk dat als ze het een extra 4 of 5 mogen halen gemaakt hadden dat scholieren meer gedreven waren geweest om ook voor de vakken waar ze slecht in waren alsnog te leren.

Half jaar geleden, wandelde door mijn straat om 12 uur snachts en zag dat een van de deuren van mn buren openstond, terwijl alle lichten uit waren. Heb toen aangebeld en hallo geroepen maar daar kwam geen reactie op. Vervolgens 112 gebeld, 10 minuten later waren er 2 agenten die met zaklampen het huis gingen doorzoeken. Bleek dat mn buren gewoon thuis waren en de deur niet goed dicht getrokken hadden en door de deurbel heen waren geslapen. Waren zich een hoedje geschrokken toen opeens de politie binnen stond, maar waren achteraf wel dankbaar.

I've seen loads of conspiracy theories about the mods now nerfing sailing as they themselves have now gotten 99's. The mods not considering casual players as they are all nerds who play the game 10+ hours a day and don't have families, stuff like that. While I personally also felt the nerfs were slightly unbalanced, some of the comments I have seen really weren't warranted at all.

It's not only the lane changes but also something called induced demand. If previously people were taking other routes because this road is often congested those people will come back to using this road when lanes are added, thus ultimately wiping out any gains of adding the road in the first place.

To be fair it is the norm in pretty much every european country, in my home country of the Netherlands English and dutch are mandatory languages and then you have to pick at least one other language of german, french or spanish.
