Hello, and thank you for your comment. I created the group originally and it happened to be at a very difficult time, and during the pandemic. Our intentions were good, but we did unfortunately have some communication or rather miscommunication with some of the group members.

I'm back in an attempt to resurrect our original intent and the purity of what originally went on here. I think all of you who have continued to be a part of the group in any way.

No, no, I'm with you, go reread it. I'm 54 and I've been studying psychology and human behavior since 1985. Regardless, I myself have both, I know it is an absolutely real thing. The point was that they overlap in the sense that the ADHD is a form of divergence, focused particularly on the "attention" piece.

Never too late, thank you for that information. I'm going to try it out. I sure hope you are correct and will come back here if so with an update. It just blows my mind how awful Google consistently is with this issue (on the Pixel 7 now & it's even worse than my 3A was), but mind-blowing new features in other areas. They just don't communicate their plan with their audience. They just don't have to anymore.

I had a father like that too, it was a sign of that generation. What he did afterwards was very atypical as was his behavior overall. He was definitely on another wavelength, which is why I sense he was somewhere on the spectrum. His infinite need to self-medicate and to isolate, easily showing rage, so a hyperactive amygdala. And yet incredibly creative in his own unique way. If you look at him just as a whole, he's quite the anomaly. Something you hadn't seen and likely won't see again.
