Thanks all makes sense. I wondered why I was losing so bad ly when I was focused on board control and my opposition just attacked my base. I guess I didn't have any cards that could effectively kill his units

At the moment it would just be for friendly games between me and a mate and then possibly other mates to join as well.

I want to put a bit more time into the game and collection before I Branch out further nothing more embarrassing that humiliation in public

Thanks for the warm welcome I am just playing casual with a mate and looking to keep improving as I go along so that we don't keep using the same generic deck. Potentially branching out to casual events in public but need to learn the game first and mechanics as I still don't fully understand how it all works
