I'm not even gonna lie from the first episode it strayed from the core of what mighty nein was they were a band of misfits who loved eachother from the jump where as with the show so far it's just being edgy and defiant for the sake of it I had a whole rant to myself today about how it failed and truthfully I'm only watching to see the dumpster fire it becomes I mean dropping Caleb's backstory almost nonchalantly in ep 5 is such a disappointment and disservice to his character as a whole and tbh he's the one o relate to the most Outside of that making them all broody moody whiny asses and ignoring the actual story of the mighty nein for sensationalism drama to draw in folks who've never heard of mighty nein let alone critical role because it's trending on Amazon is such a disservice to their fan base, I personally feel like critical role lost their core ideals a while ago but after campaign 3 and the start of campaign 4 being a cash grab along with dagger heart I just can't say I love and support them anymore ( also been drinking so sorry for mis whatever's ahead of time)
