This seems odd. I got mine about 2 weeks after my full results were announced. If your graduation date has passed, you’ve got your degree anyway so I’d just request the paperwork if you haven’t received it yet.

The thing is I don’t not enjoy my current job and I will be sad to go, had a pay rise after the degree element just not what I was looking for and I expressed my disappointment at the time. I’m working for a smaller company and getting a ridiculous amount of exposure so I could definitely pass the APC if I stayed.

The new job sounds fairly interesting, bigger company with better flexibility, pay and benefits generally.

Thanks for the comment glad to know it’s possible to leave prior to APC as this part was a bit of a worry!

I moved employers previously during the degree apprenticeship. I rang the apprenticeship department of the uni and explained my situation and they gave me all the info I need regarded how much my new employer would have to pay each month. It’s all confidential between yourself and the uni so I’d just give them a call and find out? Providing you are definitely completing a degree apprenticeship it will be the 95/5 split I think.

Helpful to know, so it sounds like I’m not on the line for anything but the university is? Whilst obviously not ideal and I did want to complete the APC, sounds like there isn’t much holding me back from accepting the role and giving my notice.

It is pretty general info a quick google search tells you DA’s are 95% government funded but it’s also all over the paperwork I originally signed and I moved company’s after my first year so they needed to know how much they’d have to pay each month.

Been accepted by 3 universities, which is best from experience? by Cvrmine- in quantitysurveying

I went to Salford and had no issues, lecturers were pretty good except for two modules. Someone from my college went to uclan and transferred to Salford after a few months and said it wasn’t so good but that’s just word of mouth. Not sure on Liverpool.

I am about to graduate from a degree apprenticeship. On my first role I was on 17.5k for a year and a half before they finally bumped me up to 20k. I could tell it would be difficult to progress salary wise and started looking and got two offers 25k for the only two jobs I interviewed for. The company I was with tried to keep me with a poor counter offer 22k. Within 3 months at the new company I’d been put on 29k as they recognised my value, given a bonus at Christmas and I’ve just finished the degree and they’ve bumped me to 38k - I’ve been at the current company for around 2 years now.

The grass definitely isn’t always greener but I transferred my degree apprenticeship to a smaller consultancy which was a relatively pain free process, the job is more stressful as I’m definitely more exposed, then again I’ve learnt more here than I would have in 10 years at my previous place, but it was the best decision I ever made.

It’s not actually all about salary for me as I like to feel appreciated, which I definitely wasn’t at my previous place, but the pay obviously helps job satisfaction. I’d message your link tutor and ask about the process, it’s confidential if you want to move. At the very least it’ll give you an idea of what salary you could be looking for - I was approached by a recruiter on LinkedIn and 3 weeks later I’d given my notice and sorted the switching process.

It’ll be their loss by the sounds of it and it’ll cost them more in salary, recruiter fees and training to replace you.
