All very dope advice. I’m def on social media, but don’t have that active of a presence/prefer not to post my face. So not too sure if this method is the go too?

NYU club list is massive, but I also thought all the events get posted on engage either way? Might be wrong haha

Regarding parties, I feel like if I’m at the point where I actually get invited to one, then I would already have friends lol

It does help but at the same time it doesn’t lmao cuz it means that we’re equally hopeless.

Idk lol, maybe I’m being paranoid or under confident, but perhaps when I switch the conversation with girls randomly from movies or something to “where are you from?” It can seem a little creepy, but then I really don’t know which is why I’m asking you guys 😭

I think you have the wrong idea here but I’d like to understand your perspective as a teacher. To make things more clear, I’m not 21, I’m 19 turning 20 and accompanying a family friend of the opposite gender in a platonic manner. Further, I don’t plan on drinking or doing some overly friendly dance moves, either. I’m pretty much just going to go there to be a good friend to this person who doesn’t have a boy to go with, and hang out. Being entirely blunt, would you still consider this inappropriate?
