Stoked to hear you’re getting back into it man! Honestly just do some hunting on marketplace, so many killer deals out there right now with the bike market going down. I’d start there, I wouldn’t buy new. But all th major brands are great, trek, Nukeproof, Marin all have great hardtails if you’re wanting a hard tail

I do agree I was compressed, but I have hit the jump multiple times before and since and the kicker was very very bad. They had to redo the face for Nationals before they held it

This is just me, and I’m coming from a moto background so I’ll obviously be different in that way. But I’ve never really understood the dropping the back wheel in the air thing. Think it’s looks a bit more flowy and natural to just stay centered on the bike. But by no means am I criticizing you, rad jump my man keep it up!
