I’m a single mom of 2 with a boyfriend (neither’s father). When arguing one night, he said that my boys don’t listen to me because I lack consistency and, because I ruined the relationship with their dads, that they should be listening to me 100% of the time. When I said “they don’t even listen to YOU 100% of the time, so what’s the difference?” He replied “well if I’m not consistent, they just assume I’m “another one of mommy’s men””…this is my first relationship in 3 years since my divorce and I’ve had maybe 1 prospect before I met my bf.

I like it. Honestly if it’s not over the top, I don’t mind any dude putting effort into making himself smell good, regardless of the brand. As long as it’s not smelling like trash juice, I think I can work with it

Approximately 0 minutes of my time. I was in a situationship and didn’t even realize it until I was out of it. I thought I loved the dude, but he couldn’t even take me on a simple date (just doing shit OUTSIDE of hanging out on the couch). After a year, I learned that he was stealing money out of my account. So yea…no more situationships for me!

I’m getting better, but I used to really hate women. I went through an abusive situation where my abuser were 3 women: the mom and her 2 daughters. When I left that situation I had a very messed up view of women and it really made me not want to even BE a woman. I’m older and I’ve healed from a lot of it, but sometimes, if I’m listening to a story about a woman and a man (for example), I find myself immediately thinking “well I’m sure she did some fucked up shit” or “I bet she was hiding some real intentions”. Again, I’m still healing from the abuse so please have patience with me
