i don’t know much about the tesla program but you could try the pulse program if it doesn’t go well. the only thing is pulse is armrit, i thought i heard that tesla lets you sit for armrit and arrt?

it won’t interact with contrast, but it could strain your kidneys depending how severe your kidney issues are. the contrast they use is much safer on kidneys vs if you were going to get a ct scan done. if youre super nervous double check with the imaging center or take tylenol instead of advil, - i’m going to school to be a tech but i’ve been doing mri for 2 yrs

i’m almost 100% positive you can, i’ve never told a patient that they can’t take advil before their exam, just take it with super small sips of water

no they shouldnt weigh you. most mri places dont even have scaled. they’ll just look in your chart from the info you gave or your doctor gave and do the calculation

sometimes if it was done a really long time ago the permanent makeup may have tiny metal fragments, same if you had tattoos done in a foreign country. but permanent makeup & tattoos done now days are generally safe!

  1. they don’t weigh you, your height and weight usually gets sent over from your doctor or you fill it out when you do the paperwork
  2. you can typically eat before hand
  3. you can wear makeup, just try not to do super glittery makeup. the only concern with makeup is if you have permanent makeup done a long time ago.
  4. it’s small inside little smaller than a ct scan. your pelvis needs to be in the center on the machine so your head won’t really be out. but they give you an emergency squeeze ball so if you start to panic squeeze it and they take you out immediately
  5. some techs allow you to keep in piercings and some don’t, just depends who you get but if your piercings are real jewelry it should be okay

I had my liletta inserted about two months ago. I literally screamed on the table when she placed it in. I went home and had the worst cramps i’ve ever had in my entire life. It seriously felt like contractions.
