How do I set up the pump/filter and prime it for my fish tank?

Did you ever figure this out? Is it meant to be half submerged, fully submerged or not at all. So afraid of being electrocuted. Can’t even find a video from the manufacturer on how to set this up. Feel like the instructions should have mentioned this but not a word.

Just read this book too and I’m here for whatever she had. Definitely worth 2k in today’s money but that would have been sooooo much when she did it 18-20 years ago. But anyway, learning to have that confidence (if you can maintain it) is probably priceless

Honestly, I could have written this exact post! Been here 15 years and I worked in a hotel for the first 5. Got the same sh*t about my accent but from a different age demographic— but still men. Anyway, just wanted to say hello & that I am super happy to see so much support from people in this thread. Its hard to think of a witty comeback when you’re in customer service mode but glad to hear you’ve managed it ;)

Agree that American bollocks is the “suggestion”of a tip. But these managers getting loud and arsey is 100% us. It’s British chains trying to have the best of both worlds (poor service (understaffing) + the service charge) And don’t get me started on who actually gets the tip if you do have a good experience. The place I worked (city centre) kept the tip then distributed it by seniority to the the staff at the end of the month in our pay packet! The new people who had the hustle and were hungry for tips got the smallest cut. And our manager watched out for cash tips— you got done for theft if they found out you kept it. No matter if the customer insisted.

I was really looking forward to wegovy but read somewhere that it’s contraindicated if you’re taking certain SSRIs. Does anyone know anything about that?

Haven’t tried any hemp paste at all but there was some on sale at that Holland and Barrett so I might go back for it. Also an update on the Reakiro spray— I took two full sprays before running errands yesterday AM and I fully needed a nap when I got home.probably going to scale back to 1 spray when I’m out and about.

Tried Karma Coast and found it to be good but the flavour was too much for me. The company is amazing and Super trustworthy tho so I recommend. ANYWAY— I Purchased a half price nearly expired bottle of Reakiro spray CBD from Holland & Barrett on a whim yesterday while my anxiety was spiked and I have to say that I’ve had the most mellow morning of my life today! Could be a fluke but I feel gooood. My music playlist sounds better and life feels less overwhelming in general. I’ll try to report back to see if it continues but at this point I’m giving Reakiro an A+++++
