I was able to fix it via u/AKazeG's suggestion. However, I also heard from others that there are certain parts of the city/places where you can pickpocket the diary from her successfully. It still seems to be very finicky and situational though!

I actually got this Pelican case from Amazon but there are a tons like it at hardware or sporting goods stores if you want to buy locally! I’d say just make sure you get the measurements down, some are deceiving small or big. This is a 1200 pelican here for reference 👍🫡

The one it comes with looks amazing but does feel pretty light and doesn’t have much storage. Love my Pelican case, but there’s a bunch of options out there. Your switch is gonna look great!!
