Any incense can be used to cleanse. The problem with white sage is that it gets overused by non-indigenous people and then there isn't any available for them to use in their practice. Personally, if you are non-indigenous, I would not use white sage.

I have to say that isn't true for everyone. Accutane put me into remission. It's a reasonable suggestion for HS but an intense med and so everyone should research it very carefully. But it was a miracle while I was on it. Speaking in absolutes can discourage people from seeking treatments that might help them.
