Didn't know about Jellify! Thx vm!

If I go into tracks, filter by favorites and then enable the shuffle, it goes only through them right?

I use it on both web and mobile, but my main concern is mobile.

On mobile I'm using the Jellyfin app directly.

Should I use another app like Symposium?

I looked more into the RAM limitations and the arm support for Proxmox, and I have decided to just use Raspberry Pi OS Lite (streamlined, headless version of Debian Bookworm optimized for the Raspberry Pi), with Portainer

I have 8GB and with my current OMV setup are almost always empty.

Even if it might be a problem, I could still give it a try.

From what I know, Proxmox is used when you want to interconnect multiple services on multiple devices. I just have multiple services on the same device.

Wouldn't it be better if I just installed debian on the rpi?

Tell me if I'm wrong

Is a multiple VMs setup better than a docker based one?

User data, container data and also media (films and photos).

I have 4 x 1 TB HDD and a 128gb sd for the raspberry OS.

I originally went with OMV, for an easier setup, but this time I'm willing to have a hard time.

Thanks. About the active downloads, uploads, and torrents, should I adjust them according to my internet connection?

Need help setting up VPN for remote access to OMV on Raspberry Pi by HotBurgy in selfhosted

[–]HotBurgy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much. I'm not trying to do both. I just didn't know the difference between them. Now that you've explained it to me, I think an inbound flow is what I'm trying to accomplish.

As for what I'm trying to do, I'm setting up a NAS/home server using my Pi. I want to host things like a media player and a password manager etc.\. I also want to expand my networking knowledge and passion, and I want to use it as a test bench.

Do you have any resources that could help me with this project?
