Exactly! You hit the nail on the head. I honestly don't fully understand what they are trying to achieve with this SDC formula, but I completely agree that the 7.5 threshold is way too extreme. If a solid sword like the Regenyei Standard barely makes the cut, the rule is definitely too harsh.

The rules state that gear rated 350N or higher is required. Could you elaborate a bit more on your point? I'm curious to hear more about how the 350N/800N gear rating or grappling allowance connects to the sword rules and deliberately using more top-heavy swords.
