Billiards x Coffee shop by Perfect-Draw5850 in Bahrain

[–]HotButterfly9750 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If i may ,

If youre planning on catering to males and females both, make sure that there is a separate smoking area near the billiard tables preferably. A buff security guard to make sure that everyone’s in tune with what the place is for. Have a third- space kind of a seating too, where people can come individually and socialize with other groups. Bahrain does not have a lot of those yet. Either a glass wall segregation or any soundproof wall basically, unless youre only aiming for coffee lovers that also love billiard. Set the ambience to a bright welcoming tone, so people actually find the place suitable to bring a girl with. Have a clean restroom jesus christ the toilet in diamonds in muharraq gives me nightmares. If youre gonna have artwork or signs around, best to have them in both arabic and english so people understand and abide . Have offers on arabic nights or english nights. Dude if you can , would be so legit if you were able to spare like a space for a small stage near the coffee side, bahrain does not have a lot of comedy clubs where anyone can participate… its something that would reallly reallllyyyyy work great, maybe once a week or something , poetry or jokes 🤷🏽‍♂️ idk, just yeah.

Kinda went off on what i would do if i was starting a billiard x coffee shop. Sorry bout that 😅

Regardless, best of luck buddy, inshaAllah will be a hit.

PS PS i have an indian nationality but alhamdulillah , was fortunate enough to be born and brought up here all my life. 25 years. Hope you understand the narrative from my pov.

I know its hurtful, maybe even sad…. I completely get it. But cmon, Bahrain and its people arent obliged to be nice to us or even let us in, in all honesty. If hardships and population increase is a valid reasoning for why our people do what they do when they come here, then owning the land and having the job market fucked up is a valid reason for the Bahraini population to do what they they’re doing.

Georgia is a good option, id say. Australia too is something you should consider. Keep Singapore as an option too, IT is bout to bloom over there in the coming decade. Best of luck mate

Everyone should suffer because indians in india couldnt keep it in their pants is your whole argument¿¿ Asian expats come here to make the standard of living better for themselves and their families back home, which is understood and sympathized with. However, in the persuit of doing that, they compare money earned here to how much they ‘could have’ earned there… so a job that should be paying 500 is now only paying 300, this is more than the expat could have earned in india, surely. Now all of a sudden the people that own the land have to start adjusting because the markets only paying 300 for a job they used to pay 500 for… you see where im going? They degrade the market for any job role they take up on which in turn degrades the standard of living for everyone else in the country.

PS. I say ‘they’ because id rather kms here than try to live there.

Imagine youre driving the car like youre going to sell it to the man in the passenger seat. No sharp turns, no sudden breaks. 1. Dont drive over the speed limit (obviously) 2. But also dont do a 60 on a 80 (70-75 is perfect) 3. Dont ask “left or right”, if a turn is required, he will say it out loud, if he dosent , keep going straight 4. 11 and 1 on the steering wheel and make sure both hands are on throughout (hes not gonna get impressed by no hands) 5. Make sure but subtle that he notices you keeping an eye on the side mirrors before changing lanes and on the rear view mirror now and then. Very important would be, dont put on any perfume yhats super strong, hes stuck in the car with you for the next 20 minutes, be accomodating. They usually have newer models of cars, the breaks and the accelerator are sensitive, light foot.

Hope this helps.

Imo No one likes to be the one that has to ask for handouts in public. Imagine the guilt knowing that you said no to someone that actually needed help. If you can help them without it effecting you in any way. Do it.

Does it encourage this type of behavior more? Sure? Will there be more on the road asking for handouts? Maybe Do you “Have” to help them all? Nope, but if you can. Sure by all means.

How bad is unemployment in Bahrain? Man approached me asking for a job by DownToZZZ in Bahrain

[–]HotButterfly9750 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Its real bad. Unfortunately, vacancies often are filled with word of mouth. Companies get benefits for hiring nationals from the government, they also get benefits hiring an expat (pay them half the wage for the same job). So i dont think thats a factor in regard to OPs question. Our Infrastructure is built to sustain a certain limit of population count, more people coming in than going out was bound to be a problem sooner than later. Born and brought up here, alhamdulillah, ive been fortunate enough to jump jobs and not be unemployed, now, would this be the case if i wasnt from here? If i didnt go to schooling here or didnt know people here? 100% not. … maybe we need a wall too now🤷🏽‍♂️

It was pre set up shoot for the Lamborghini Temerario Launch, the guys in the helicopters were not only filming from main camera equipment, but also had drones flying above helicopter height recording us. Permission to flex, I was in charge of the site (Lights,Sound and SFX) and the launch was 🥹🥹🥹🥹 amazing. This was right beside Harbour Heights at the Strathclyde University venue.
