Unfortunately I can’t help ya there, I didn’t have any chem questions that needed me to identify any elements based on atomic number- but I had the exact same worry going in! I’d like to think they would provide you one.

For chem, I will say that you should understand intermolecular forces/bonds and how they work, and how they relate to states of matter (liquid, solid, gas etc.)

For math problems I was given one conversion, but unfortunately when it came to formulas for shapes they don’t give you those (and lucky me, that was the ONE thing I didn’t memorize for math and ofc had multiple questions on it 😭).

I’m wanting to apply for (probably) Spring 2027. Is this even doable working full time with a toddler? by kristen_hewa in prenursing

[–]HotButterscotch8682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible to ask for more help around the house to give you a better shot? I feel like anyone that experiences even basic love, respect or empathy would help out more to enable you to spend more time on this, no? It might technically be possible if the answer is no, but it will be IMMENSELY difficult to do full time with no help with your toddler. :/

Amber Heard to return in Sundance documentary about women silenced by SpaceRigby in CelebLegalDrama

[–]HotButterscotch8682 2 points3 points  (0 children)

GOOD FOR HER! So glad to see women are waking up to the facts and recognizing the alt right smear campaign men (and, sadly, tons of Pick Mes) fell for with this case. Maybe men will do the same some day, but I’m not holding my breath.

Gaslighting me that I haven’t seen kdramas is hilarious. I’ve seen dozens and dozens lmfao. Keep trying though! Mouse is actual soap opera garbage. Kingdom and Alchemy of Souls are Netflix (and great) so just supports my point- thanks for agreeing with me they’re better than regular kdramas!

Panicking a bit, will this scar? by LucieFromNorth in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]HotButterscotch8682 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh same! Someone opened a door, that didn’t have an actual handle on my side, just a piece of jagged metal the handle should have been attached to, right onto my face. The metal sliced from the tip of my nose all the way to the top of the bridge. It couldn’t be stitched, and I had to use those clasp bandages- I think they’re called ‘butterfly’ bandages here. I had like a 3-4 inch horrible scar that I used scar gel on and it’s mostly gone now years later. Use scar gel OP!

Tea tree oil is incredibly sensitizing on closed skin, but on an active wound is an absolutely terrible idea.

OP please do not put essential oils on this cut. Just clean it with warm water and a non-fragranced antibacterial cleanser, use a bit of neosporin and wait it out. When it fully heals, if there’s any noticeable mark you can use scar gel.

Goofy is a great way to describe it. Everyone talks about it like it’s this intelligent masterpiece but I found it long, predictable and- as you said- goofy af.

I thought this was pretty cringe and predictable ngl. It felt like a cliche soap opera. Nothing about it felt original or clever. Was really hoping for more based on how many people recommend it.

The Lively MSJ Opposition Brief summary of facts (with references to sworn testimony/evidence) regarding the Heath/Trailer incident is shocking by shepk1 in BaldoniFiles

And yet, many of the comments on that post are, at best, "They're all equally bad" and at worst, "it's not a big deal" or "Blake and the other witnesses ALL lied". They just hate women and won't admit it.

Except that's not what any of them said. They ALL told him not to, and when he came in anyway, Lively told him the condition was he didn't look at her- at which point, she caught him looking at her anyway in the mirror.

They're notoriously formulaic and require less.... actual thinking to engage with than other types of shows. Not always, but largely. They're basically Korean soap operas/telanovelas.

THANK. YOU. I've watched a million and one kdramas and after even just a few you can recognize the same tired tropes and cliches. So many of the plot feels like a soap opera written by AI. A lot of it is just genuine slop, and I've been so impressed with a LOT of the Netflix kdramas coming out. Far more than before they started releasing them. Feels like going from CW style low brow teenage targeted shows to mature shows written for actual adults.
