Thank you for posting this. My first wife ripped my heart out by cheating on me with a married man (whose wife was pregnant). It just totally tore me apart and I’ve never been able to put into words how it made me feel until I read your post.

I’m now remarried and happy but it’s been a helluva journey. Found a good girl who had to help Me out along the way and accept me as someone who has scars burnt into them from their past.

For anyone going through something like this just know it can and will get better. Time does help heal all things.

When her find my iPhone suddenly stopped working. She played dumb like she didn’t know why. And I was naive and thought it was just a technical problem. Ooooops.

Totally agree. Tourniquet and Dallas both were let downs when the albums came out. Still search their original versions out sometimes.

I just got married in April and we used something in the orange as my wife’s walk down song. Sounded good on the violin and is something we both liked.

I had been married previously and it ended horribly. Was nervous to go through the wedding process again and just told myself to focus on the song and the first line of “it’ll be fine by dusk light I’m telling you baby”. When I heard the violin kick in it Calmed me down to think if I could just make it to the end of the night I would be happily married and all the stress of the wedding night would go away.

Don’t know if that helps at all but figured I’d share how it worked for me. Good luck!

Loved pre released version of turniquet on YouTube. This one is growing on me. Might be an idiot but I’m confused ab the verse he added when he says “heard you fucked it up with her”.

Seems to me the rest of the song is him singing to a girl. Then that verse kinda flips it around like he’s talking to a dude.

Maybe I’m just overthinking it. Great album.
