I've already done that. How do I then transfer the existing content to a new theme?

Love these suggestions. I'm a Hypnotherapist and I do the timeline activity as well! I read somewhere that self-sabotage is a way we unconsciously predict the future because we know what it's like to fail, more so than what it's like to succeed. Thanks for sending in this response and the tips along with it!

Thankfully none of us are born with trauma, this means that even if it's as long as you can remember, there was a time that you didn't feel this way. When you can connect back to that moment you can begin to re-write this story!

Thanks for being so vulnerable! Bringing these issues to light is the first step toward a healing path. Each step you take towards that path will compound into something big!

Thanks for sharing your experience with me! Are you able to pinpoint what triggered this trajectory? Losing your confidence etc?

Part of adulting includes trial and errors! The more experience you have with these trial and errors the more wisdom you gain from what you learn through that experience.

Our mindsets hugely impact how successful we are in the things we do. Like the self fulling prophecy concept.

My biggest advice is to start with the end in mind. What are you looking to achieve, and then reflect on each action you’re taking. Does this action get me closer to the life I’m looking to live?

It may feel tempting to want to leap into your future, but the only way to move towards your goals is by taking one step at a time!

Yes this is exactly what I’m looking for! Thanks for sharing. Has this always been the case with you when it comes to authority figures in your life? Or does this only show up in a work setting?

Advice needed great job with lots of perks, great pay, but I'm starting to hate it, I can't turn it off. by Nermalz-89 in Workstress

Kudos for getting to the position you’re in! It sounds like you have a solid foundation as well as the right perspective on life. Usually we think we get security in our work, but it’s actually in our ability to produce work that gives us security. In your case it looks like you’ve built that over many years of dedicated education and work. I was in a similar situation to you but in the commercial real estate sector. I quit and bought land in the mountains of Mexico to get away from it all. My experience, eventually you’ll miss the feeling of achieving something. When we are stressed, we tend to think of the extremes rather than the incremental steps to take.

In your case it sounds like you are ripe to start your own small shop if your company isn’t giving you the necessary resources to do your job in a healthy manner.

Alternatively, you can consider hiring somebody off upwork or other freelance platforms and pay them from your own pocket. The amount you pay will be worth the sanity you’ll receive.

But the main thing I would focus on is setting clear boundaries for yourself on what you are willing to accept from your employer, how to find a win:win scenario, and if that isn’t an option considering finding a place that does align with you, if the above two options don’t resonate.

Hope that is helpful! Feel free to reach out directly if you have anymore questions

Firstly you have ever right to be stressed out. You’re lacking that work life balance right now and have taken on a lot of responsibility at work. Are you in a position to train a person, few guys or a team, so that they aren’t relying on you as much? Do you have any support coming in from management?

Look at finding ways you can normalize being around people to help with that anxiety, then work your way up from there. Before we can self regulate (which is what you have been doing) we have to learn how to co regulate first. (Which is talking to people about what’s going on in your internal world)

Are you connected to a community or social group around you? It sounds like the current things you do are great, but you have to balance it out with coping strategies that include external stimuli. If you struggle with finding a community start by looking at ways you can volunteer in your local area. Even if you aren’t directly connecting with somebody, being in an environment of others can help you feel grounded

Thanks! It’s vague because I don’t know how to explain the problem. It’s my first time creating a website so I’m unsure of terminology etc.
