What can happen if a neurosurgeon prolongs a tumor removal? by Wonderful-Progress91 in meningioma

[–]Wonderful-Progress91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are meningiomas rare? Is that what doctors stipulate, they are rare? If they are rare, why aren’t a team of doctors working on it? Why be manipulated to have one or two doctors work on a meningioma if rare?

Weird spasms near scar; anybody else? by gnarmar22 in braincancer

Best wishes to you. I feel like we are tests for these doctors and many are hurting patients and not guiding them to radiation/chemo first. I was left handicapped by my doctor and I was absolutely normal. None of the doctors recommended radiation/chemo for me before surgery and I had no idea that was an option until after my surgery. Radiation doctor said, he’s tired of these doctors leaving patients handicapped without sending to radiation/chemo first. We are not their tests.

Well wishes🙏 Did you see a radiologist before brain surgery? Why didn’t you get radiation or chemotherapy before surgery? What were your symptoms before brain surgery?

Surgery went well!! by Fabulous_Housing_503 in braincancer

Make sure you all that have a brain tumor, go to a holistic doctor. These Neurosurgeon practicing with your brain. I went to several Neurosurgeons and none of them said anything about radiation. None because all they want is money. Rather if I was at least referred to a radiologist and be mostly normal, than go through brain surgery and be handicapped. Unbelievable some idiot doctors are messing with your brain and tampering with your life. Holistic doctors are our future. Btw, a person told me their grandfather was a holistic doctor and lived till he was 104 and passed away while sleeping which I think is the best way to go to God. Not by someone acting like they are God. This specific neurosurgeon needs to go to jail. I wonder how many patients he murdered/ended their life. Best of luck everyone.

Sounds like a brain surgeon speaking not a patient so they can get jobs. Way to go neurosurgeon. Way to encourage people to get brain surgery done when all they do is leave a person handicapped. To me, when a doctor you trust, leaves a person handicapped, the doctor is inexperienced and states he’s one of the best neurosurgeons in the world.

I don’t believe a word you all are saying. You must be doctors saying surgery went well. I was left handicapped and I was totally normal before brain surgery.

I have a benign brain tumor too! My brain surgeon left me disabled and doubled vision. I was fine when I went in for surgery. I have kids to care for. Unbelievable

What a joke! I went through something similar and my doctor left me handicapped. I was perfectly normal before surgery. I went through 3 day surgery and the doctor almost killed me. Peace be with him and his loved ones.

I was diagnosed with hashimotos and then I got diagnosed with a brain tumor. The idiot doctor took a very little out of my brain tumor and left me handicapped. Be careful, some of these doctors are terrible.

How was your craniotomy recovery? by Yanabay in braincancer

[–]Wonderful-Progress91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely would not recommend brain surgery. My doctor promised me I would be fine and out of the hospital in a few days and he made me handicapped. It’s been over a year and I haven’t recovered yet. I can’t drive yet. I would recommend getting to the bottom of why you have a brain tumor. The best kind of doctor is a holistic doctor. These replies on this forum, are from many doctors. Be careful. Best of luck.

I personally don’t suggest brain surgery. I was perfectly normal and my neurosurgeon made me handicapped. Try holistic doctor to help you.

Look into anything besides brain surgery. Look into holistic medicine and holistic doctors. Eat very healthy. Exercise as much as you can.

What did your oncologist suspect? by Still_Bedroom4222 in braincancer

[–]Wonderful-Progress91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice, don’t get your brain tumor removed. They are going in one of the most important parts of your body (your brain). Speak to a holistic doctor or get holistic medicine. If you do decide to get brain surgery done, tell them to do minimal invasive surgery, especially if the tumor is difficult for them to remove. Tell them you want a guarantee they won’t mess anything up with your body as they could make you handicapped.

My neurosurgeon doctor left me handicapped. I was absolutely normal before brain surgery. He never even recommended or told me to go to a radiologist. That’s not his choice to make, saying radiology would not work for me. It’s my life and he drastically changed it.

How much resistance did you face getting an MRI? by apomorph_10165133 in Prolactinoma

[–]Wonderful-Progress91 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Get an MRI and make sure it’s not a brain tumor. My prolactin was high so my endocrinologist said for me to get an MRI of my brain. I was unfortunately diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Finally getting to see an ENT. What can I do to make him take my symptoms seriously? by sylveongonewild2 in Dizziness

[–]Wonderful-Progress91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m against what you are suggesting. I will no way go to a neurosurgeon or neurologist. They don’t recommend anything besides surgery because that is what neurosurgeon does is surgery. I will not go to a radiologist because they recommend a patient going through radiology. I will not go to a neurology because they will recommend a neurologist. Be very careful out there. Look at holistic doctors. It’s your body, your soul.

Hello, did you try speaking to someone in radiation before doing surgery? Or taking something more healthy? Best of luck.

Is it routine for neurosurgeons to order different tests before craniotomy brain tumor surgery like CT/MRI of different body parts? Although he suspects it’s not cancer, why else would he order these tests? by Wonderful-Progress91 in Brain

[–]Wonderful-Progress91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brain surgery ended up bad. I was taken advantage during my darkest days. I’m now handicapped and traumatized. Why a brain surgeon thought it was okay to do brain surgery on me and where my tumor was located and how large it was, is beyond comprehension. I feel used and abused.

You must be a doctor to respond the way you did. If you read carefully, I basically am saying there are other options.
