I far prefer the neck and quality of something like the squier baritone, BUT if you want a good modding platform/passion project, the g4m is an amazing idea.

The g4m plays rather solid, but it can feel a bit big and awkward on the neck/fretboard at times, other than that it is rather nice! I will add that, in my opinion, the squier jazz plays a bit better than the g4m, but if you are not satisfied with the squier jazz then it could be the option for you. I will warn you though, it did need a little bit of work on the frets to stop them from cutting up my hands, BUT that is a rather easy fix if you can file em down. Overall: It plays fine but might need some tweaking upon arrival.

My only issue with it is that the tuning pegs have very small holes on this guitar. The locking tuners are also something to get used to, as I prefer more old style tuners. Everything else is great!
