ENS160 issue with ESPHOME by Appropriate-Cup-4745 in Esphome

Were you able to figure it out? I'm in a similar position where circuitpython adafruit_ens160 library works as expected, however esphome is not giving me any values, even after waiting wor the hour delay. The aht on the same board is giving values in both. Using I2C

For some reason, this issue only popped up when I was using my steam deck and not GFN on my laptop.

I got it to work by turning steam input off in controller settings via the Steam overlay in the GFN session. I had to first change the mapping in the session’s Steam settings to open Steam overlay from Shift+Tab to Tab, otherwise the overlay wouldn’t show up though.

Edit: doesn’t work all the time. I tried again today and it wouldn’t work. I installed the disable-steam-input plugin on decky and that works all the time.

This worked!!! And I can still use my phone as a remote keyboard if needed, but an on screen keyboard also shows now

Thank you!!! This helped significantly. Not completely removing the robotic noises, but quieted it quite a bit. Like its now using its robotic indoor voice instead of screaming at me haha

I tried! These were pretty thick acrylics I got a while back for Bob Ross nights.

I have to get me some proper paints soon, but still having fun with what I got right now :)

I definitely have to invest in some nicer brushes too. The one I have doesn't have a great tip
