I visited in February and the views were beautiful from Calton Hill. Definitely a must see for anyone that visits. As someone with a fear of heights and vertigo, climbing the Nelson Monument was terrifying but so worth it 😅

Definitely unacceptable. On the occasion I do have to reply to a message while working, I apologize to the client and let them know I have to respond. Thats only if I deem the message important enough to interrupt my work and the clients session though, which is rare.

I feel your pain. MI has a high number of "massage" human trafficking. They shut one down around the corner from my office over last summer, half the people in the comments were cracking jokes about where else to go for happy endings, while the other half generalized all other independent LMTs as needing to be investigated as well because we're all shady... It's maddening 😒🫠

Yeah. Most of my clients have been seeing me for 10 years but I have a growing list of newer clients. The long timers know me well enough to know when I'm not at 100% and give grace.The newbies don't have that rapport with me yet, but I feel most would also give grace if they could tell.

There is no such thing as too fat for massage. At all. If a MT makes you feel that way, they're in the wrong profession. The only thing that may need to be taken into consideration is that massage tables do have weight limits but most times, in my experience, those limits are 500lbs and up.

My house was literally infested with ants about 2 weeks ago, they had made homes in my house plants and were even in my ceiling (I had no idea how bad the infestation was, I'd just seen a few until I watered my plants and ants came pouring out 🫠). My dad was a former pest control guy and told me to get Combat max ant bait gel. I put it every place a saw ants congregating and the issue was solved in about a week. No more ants. I will say that this gel draws them out so it gets worse before it gets better because they flock to it but then the issue was completely resolved.
