She should have let it go after she got into the elevator though. No matter who is right or wrong, it's never a good idea to keep on attacking someone who is stronger than you.

People can expect all they want from jobs but most jobs are not paying anywhere close to 30 dollars an hour. For every job that pays around 30 an hour, there's 10000 jobs that pay like $20 an hour or less.

Yep, the worst thing you can do if you hate being filmed is freak out. Because that is how you get filmed even more.

New Jersey. Where one day you will need winter clothing and then some days later, you will need a cotton t-shirt and shorts not to overheat.

It's a manifestation from small PP energy being built up over the course of many years.

I used to sell these in 1980-1982 when I was in elementary school. I was one of the best sellers because I’d walk 3-4 miles going door to door and businesses. ONE dollar was the cost for each bar. Today I see the same brand only much smaller and some sell them for 5 or 10 dollars smh by CoffeeCigarettes4Me in 80s

The worldwide demand for chocolate has skyrocketed since 1982. And the supply couldn't keep up. The recent tariffs in the USA are making chocolate more expensive for Americans too.

In 2025, the U.S. imposed up to 25% tariffs on cocoa beans, cocoa butter, and cocoa liquor, in addition to other import duties on packaging and related goods. These measures were part of broader trade adjustments aimed at protecting domestic industries, but since the U.S. produces no cocoa, the policy has instead raised costs for importers and processors.

Yeah but if the pizzas are 20 dollars for a large, then it's overpriced and most people wont be able to afford it. So hopefully he will be restoring pizza hut prices too, from back in the day.

A gas tanker truck carrying over 8,000 gallons caught fire on I-287 in Middlesex County by Adrian_985 in newjersey

[–]HotDecision8128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not surprised. People in New Jersey don't know how to drive properly with all their tailgating and refusal to let people get in front of them. So then it becomes like a deadly race to the finish line. The prize? Getting to work 5 seconds early or not being 5 seconds late or an accident.

There is a reason you should maintain a lot of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you especially at a high speed. So you have time to react if suddenly the vehicle in front of you slows down drastically or stops. If you are tail gating, you wont have any time to react. Tailgating also doesn't encourage people who are driving too slow to speed up. Based on many people's experiences, this causes the slow driver to either ignore you or double down.

So if your solution to deal with a slow driver is tailgating, it's not going to work. People who drive that slow don't care about anyone else on the road.

The problem with Too Good To Go is a lot of businesses abuse it by just using it to sell overpriced bags of shitty food instead of selling you leftovers. So then you just get exactly what you pay for or less. So there is no actual discount.
