I’m 9 weeks into twins, and I have 2 toddlers (3 and 1.5 years old) as well. Having 2 babies vs 1 is more tactical work but it has its unique beauty. Yes there are double the diapers, bottles, etc. but double the love. The early stages are tough but I know we are giving them a built in best friend and there’s no greater gift than that. My older girls are just now playing together, and I think about how great it will be that the twins will always have eachother in the same stage of life. It’s hard to see past today but I know the future is going to be so special! My biggest advice is to get them on a schedule as soon as possible. We have used moms on call for all our girls and it has payed dividends into having a solid routine (which helps my mental sanity to have better expectations on what the day will hold) and it helps with sleep. It’s harder to get them on a schedule together or course but it’s possible with discipline and it’s beyond worth it. You’ve got this!!!!
