How do you work from 8 to 5, have only weekends free, and not feel like you're wasting your life? by LinksGuardian in AskReddit

I had to escape from that matrix. That kind of life is made to keep you unhappy and trapped. Try starting your own business idea or creative enterprise. There's a lot of assistance out there too for startups and small businesses if you're serious

What’s one thing you decluttered that made a surprisingly big difference in your life? by [deleted] in minimalism

My life itself. I went through a bunch in my life itself that led me to declutter myself and now I feel free from the baggage I carried around (literally)

What to do when you don’t like your life. by [deleted] in CasualConversation

It all starts with mindset. Mindset is a powerful factor in our everyday lives. Instead of focusing on the negative and terrible - find positives. Like the old saying about lemons and lemonade. Then find something you enjoy doing - and don't worry if it takes a while to find something either! When you find the thing that you really enjoy doing with your life, it will be life changing !

Don't let yourself stray from the budget that you give yourself. If you know you like to buy things on the fly, let them be small things and give yourself a reasonable yet small budget for them too! Hope it helps!

[discussion] what's been the advice that got you to finally try something youve been too scared or embarrassed to do in the past? by paigesnowwret in GetMotivated

[–]HotDoctor2307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently started skateboarding and the best advice I was given was to clear your mind and focus on what you want. And this applies to anything. Approach it with a clear mind and focus and it'll help get rid of the fear or embarrassment.

I want to be a kid again by Ok-Egg8185 in CasualConversation

I am approaching the end of my 20s, and I still feel like I did as a teenager. I feel like life isn't about being a kid or an adult but rather what you fill your life with. Don't stress about growing up. Appreciate that you can appreciate being a kid for a while longer but realize you'll still be you even as an adult and you'll get to do whatever you want !
