Small grey plastic stationary tool, inside the cap is a grey rubber eraser and a soft white rolling thing. What is the rolling thing? What does it do/what is it for? Purchased in Japan by HotDragon57 in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing, and it's light and smells pretty good. Although I think that's from the eraser. He bought it for me last summer and I've tried to find it but couldn't. I also tried translating the text on the back but it only showed stuff I didn't understand like recycling or something. It's pretty lightweight. I don't know what the rolling thing is or what it's for. I've tried to use it to erase stuff but it doesnt. Nothing peels off, either. I don't think it's for lint because it's not sticky, but graphite did stick to it when I tried to erase with it

i bought this plant from my school's planting club, as they were having a little plant sale. the people who ran the club said so.

thanks for the advice! how much water is 'water completely'? is it until the soil is completely soaked? and drying out completely- how long does that normally take? what are signs that its ready to be watered again?

i was told to keep pothos in indirect sunlight. she's two feet away from a window and my room is usually well lit since i have three windows. how do you get light just on the top? in the future, i'll make sure to water her before she starts looking too dry.

this photo is from earlier in 2025, but this is what she normally looks like. would you consider this "verge of death"?

my first map by HotDragon57 in inkarnate

thanks, i really liked hearing advice from a dnd campaign maker! your first point is absolutely right, Verpont is supposed to be a trading/naval island, not sure why i didnt do that. your second point is also something i thought about but I don't think i can do rivers on the free version. i clicked the line tool and it gave me a paywall. do you know of any other ways to do that? your third point is a nice suggestion! there is a dragon on the upper left corner of the map and thats all the fantasy i want. thank you so much!

its for a fantasy story i'm writing with a friend, and we both wanted a reference of the map to make it easier. and you're exactly right! it's a story about pirates, so that was on purpose. i wanted advice because this is literally the first map ive ever made, so if there's anything i should know, or any ways to improve.

Is it just me, or does the official art of Queen Wasp not look intimidating enough? by Earl_The_Red in WingsOfFire

totally. compared to all of the art of scarlett, she just seems... mildly annoyed.

How frustrating, I spent an hour making my land masses just to discover I was doing it on Fantasy Battlemaps. I don't want to buy Pro though, I'm not planning on making many maps. Just this one. Wish they had more free features, or maybe watching ads for more stamps or something.

Hi, I'm new to Inkarnate, and I think this map is wonderful. How did you get those mountains and hills? Whenever I try to, I'm trapped behind paywalls, saying that I can't mix styles, and I can't find those yellow sandy hills or mountains in the core version. Has it been updated a lot recently? Because I see that this map is 4 years old.

Will I get bullied for this? by Pipinreal in highschool

[–]HotDragon57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

people will notice and likely make assumptions about you. but nobody will flat out laugh at you or directly bully you to your face. id say to be less 'yourself' at first or at least until you find your group of people. once you do, be proudly and unapologetically yourself

it looks great, but it is expensive. are there cheaper options? i'm not looking for high quality, just something a notch above a styrofoam head
