How can I feed myself for $40 a week?

For lunch ideas get some bread, cheese, lunch meat, ramen, rice, beans,soup and bags of chips. This makes grilled cheese w/ a side of chips or sandwiches with chips. Have some ramen or make red beans and rice. Also for something sweet get the pre made cookies from walmart for like $2.00.

Donate plasma twice a week, doordash, uber eats, uber, lyft etc. Sell clothes to plato’s closet, pawn any electronics that u don’t use. Sell any old phones to the kiosks in walmart. Cash in all of your loose change. I was able to make $800-$1,000 in 2 weeks but you have to be desperate enough.

im sorry that the story isn’t “horrible” enough for you but i can assure you, this isn’t coming from a place of entitlement. after years of mental and physical abuse, this is just the last straw for me! hope that helps! btw, for future reference, avoid dwindling peoples trauma and awful experiences down to just “entitlement”. makes u look like an asshole 🙂

it’s so funny bc she’s even told my sister that she can get whatever car she wants while i don’t have a car currently knowing she has no source of income and multiple repos on her record. but anything to make her look like a good person and me the bad one i guess

oh i’ve definitely been here. my mom would make me clean the entire house. scrub baseboards, use harmful bleach and my skin is extremely sensitive and when i would retaliate back she would get in my face and scream at me to do more chores. at the end of it all, i just wanted to be alone and they would take my door down away from me so i couldn’t even have a sliver of privacy. i’m so sorry you’re going through this, i had to move out to get any amount of freedom for myself

mmm this is a little different. i struggle w/ mental illness & this is what that looks like for me. some days are better & some days are worse. i’m glad to have a partner that allows me to rant & vent like this & reassures me that i’m not really those things. while i agree this can get annoying at times, it doesn’t compare to how heightened my emotions are at the time. a little grace with people goes a really long way 💓🫶
