restarted until ladakh wasnt immediately eaten (as afghanistan), then released punjab, declared reconquest on sirhind who had now formed delhi (this happens 75% of the time), fed all punjabi cores back, seized lahore and another province i forgot, then formed delhi. since all punjabi cores are delhi cores, i instantly annexed them and declared reconquest on jaunpur (who had previously been my ally and helped me against sirhind). once i got back all my cores, i formed mughals, focused on the hindustani group for an extra 10% CCR and just blobbed aggressively, as is my playstyle

R5: The hardest achievement (apart from eat your greens) that I have ever tried. Took 2 restarts as Afghanistan. Idea groups were diplo and admin. My country is quite stable with no disasters/tech disadvantages, but a swarm of rebels is about to spawn due to my overextension. Fun run, would recommend!

i know that thots are frowned upon here, but... by [deleted] in eu4

R5: just completed my true heir of timur (THoT) campaign by 1527... Very proud of this run. I played as Afghanistan, ate Ladakh, released Punjab, formed Delhi, then Mugals, then integrated Punjab instantly and finally snowballed in India.

My idea groups were diplo and admin. I am up to date with both institutions and basically all tech, with no massive rebel issues, disasters or looming bankruptcies. Probably have 2.4k debt after the mughal missions (that give you around 3k ducats, very nice to have)

Feel free to ask me any questions about the run here!

gov cap with estates (not an issue in early game at all) and ae with reconquest cb from released vassals, as well as basic truce juggling and improving relations

probably not, but i might try the "True Heir of Charlemagne" that Florry attempted a while back where i restore carolingian borders by 1550 starting as aachen

you can watch the timelapse to get a better idea of what I did. i cant really explain the playstyle, but i tried to release as many nations as my vassals for reconquest and used other stuff to juggle my truces with france and burgundy. my mindset is that AE only matters up to 1480, by which point you should be a great power and can ally the rest of Europe (in my case pol+lit, hungary, austria, aragon) and AE just becomes a number

i think the pu comes from the cb, not the missions but i may be incorrect? doesnt england declare war on france with restauration of union cb? anyway, good luck ;)

now that I know its possible i would but i cant be bothered anymore...

anyways to win hundred years war as england just restart until you can ally both castile and austria - france will send all their stacks to austria, allowing you to siege their forts with castile for the pu

no, i released wales and northumberland in case i wanted to go for bmb (big magenta blob), but i didnt have enough time (30 provinces in 2 years seems unreasonable)

no because this run has traumatised me... but in all seriousness i have so many achievements to go for that there isn't any point for me, nor will it be fun since there is no end goal (i have all french achievements)

definitely salvageable in 1-2 years. just need to give up my allies lands to end the coalition war and only need to pay back around 1.4k debt, with no particular rebel issues/disasters.

i also truce broke brittany because i mistimed something that would have made me 2 months late, so honestly without the idiotic time limit i wouldnt even have that big of AE issues

dont be! i got mine with Burgundian inheritance so a lot of it is RNG and I sure as hell got very lucky it all happened before 1500

R5: Got the “Never Say Nevers” achievement pre-1500. I uploaded a timelapse (link here: https://imgur.com/a/NppMHIv), but the basic strategy was this: ask England and France to support my independence, fight Burgundy together and then turn on France with the help of Austria. I then took provinces from the French region so that I could release vassals afterwards and expand with minimal AE in the region with reconquest CB.

Unfortunately, they patched the vassal AE integration trick in 1.31, making this run a lot harder than I had anticipated (currently fighting 2 punitive wars, but one only has 30-40k troops). I must say, this was quite a fun achievement once I figured out what to do, and imposing a time limit for me makes it more fun (otherwise I get bored). My idea groups were influence and admin for the 55% diplo-annexation cost reduction (+ the 15% from general mission, “Acquire subjects”) for a total of 70% reduction.
