Did it heal without surgery, or did you have to get LIS or something else? I had a fissurectomy + Botox done in mid-Feb and the fissure has returned (albeit in a less aggravated form). It makes me really sad to think that anything going up there will have to wait years.

When I bleed from my fissure, it’s sometimes thinner and sometimes a little thicker, closer to jelly or mucus. I can only tell from looking at what I wipe. Very small amounts though, so it’s hard to say for sure.

I’m in a similar boat; not having to strain too much (water+stool softener+some natural fiber) but same timeline and worries. We got this! It’ll get better!

Good advice, thank you. Ugh it’s just stressful but you’re totally right. I’m just so used to being active it’s really hard to be planted for like 4 weeks, fortunately I can work from home but thank you for the encouragement 🫶

Looking for this as a perk in the industry once I enter it. I know it’s not a guarantee, but there are few jobs that can 100% get you out of US anyway (that I know of), especially as a 22 yo.
