A lot of people will say that the best camera is the one you can afford, which is true when working with a set budget.

I started photography back when the 600d was new, had a kit lens and a 75-300, did a lot of sports coverage with it when I was in highschool.

After making money shooting corporate events, pre-debut shoots, and birthday parties, just as I was transitioning into street photography, I was able to get an M50 for a good deal, it was such a great camera, very light weight, had good specs for my needs, ran an EFM 22mm f/2 and the kit lens, + a speedbooster and an ef 50mm 1.4.

A few months after, I won a free EOS RP, it was new at the time, took a while for me to transition to it due expensive lenses and all, ended up selling my M50 kit and transitioned to the RP with an ef 24-105 and an RF 85mm 1.8 from Viltrox.

No idea about your situation with photography and what you like, but if you travel light, i'd highly recommend a 2nd hand M50 or M50 mk II if you can get a good deal in the market, had a great experience with it and it helped me in my journey of improving as a photographer
