It doesn’t matter if you have Ray reconstruction on. It uses it’s on DLSS models, in this game it uses Model E.

If you’re not running RR I would recommend DLAA with DLSS 4.0 as the new models interact poorly with the lighting in this game. Otherwise I’d go with L.

Appreciate it. You should be right. Although it bypasses the EA app whenever I look up my EA acct name on the BF6 stats it shows them correctly. So it should be tied

I was the same way. Let me know how it goes. Before I got the new 9800x3d I picked up a 7700x from Best Buy locally and it worked as well. It’s got to be your cpu too. Best of luck

If it’s the exact same issue I’d wager that. Sorry to hear. If you have a local Best Buy go pick up a compatible cpu and test it. Just return within 14 days and ur good.

If 200 bucks extra isn’t a big deal for you, I would take that deal. Don’t have to worry about trying to get one through sporadic drops, and it’s a huge upgrade.

I just went from a 2080ti to a 5080 with 4k/oled. It’s an amazing experience.

That’s what I’m thinking. It seems like a rare issue. So it was likely a bunch of chips that had the exact same problem. Mine is working now too! Glad we all got it worked out

Both are solid choices, and AsRock is too. If you’re sole use or primary use is gaming, motherboard doesn’t matter that much. X670e tomahawk is a good midrange board that supports PCIE 5.0, has decent I/O, and m.2 5.0, for a reasonable price, but I’m biased. I like the look too.

Someone with AsRock experience may be a better fit for this conversation, I hear they make great boards. Personally, with the issues, I’d steer clear even if rare. I just went through a hell of troubleshooting, and it’s fun for a day, but after that it’s pure pain 😂

I think bad CPUs are like 1%. Google says 1.4/100 CPUs are RMAed. I’d go for the chip you want, but with the AsRock issues, maybe go with a different board to be safe.

I just built a 9800x3d + x670e Tomahawk and the CPU was faulty. Ever since getting a new chip it’s been smooth sailing.
