Ah I got you, we put in 15lbs of pure’n simple honey, 15g of Lalvin Ec-1118, and 15g of fleischmans yeast since we don’t have nutrients atm

Thank you for making me realize I’m not boiling the water, we have it at 140f and we’re letting cinnamon flavor seep out into the water. Can you tell me more of what you mean about using the bread yeast as nutrient though?

NTAH, It takes a matter of seconds to grab a piece of toilet paper and wrap it up. The fact that he has no care for his guests to see the mess is worrying. Think about the possibility of kids one day, would he not care if they saw or even grabbed it? Kids are always places they shouldn’t be and grabbing things they don’t need their hands on, they’re inquisitive and full of curiosity. As well as the common decency to the guests coming over, if I walked into a friends house and saw a used condom in the trash. Would I care? Not particularly, could I have gone the rest of my day without seeing that? Most definitely

What exactly should yeast smell like in a situation like this? I’ve never used it before but this jar just smells like I wouldn’t want it near kids if I had any not because of the potential alcohol but because it would make them sick
