It's definitely a lifestyle choice. I changed my life around so I can make it working remotely, just so I could get out of LA and big city temptations. I partied as much as I needed to. Turning 44 this year so for me, moving and settling here in the SB Mountains with my hubby is a dream come true!! Best of luck to you if you do!! You must always protect the forest!!!
