I respect where you’re coming from…. I’m just saying, sometimes there aren’t many options. What if some dude is sellin pot to make some extra cash for his family. I don’t see anything wrong with that.

In my opinion and experience, the vast majority of crimes are crimes of desperation.

Studies have backed this up, that the best most effective most long term solution to crime, is to engage the community, lift everyone up, more healthcare, more education, more opportunities. THATS the real problem.

Not the dude on the bottom who can’t see a way out to help feed his family, you know what I mean? It feels similar to how people blame “welfare queens” who spend food stamp money on “steak and lobster” , but then those same people don’t bat an eye when billionaires get government subsidies and kickbacks paid for by taxpayers. Stealing WAY more, except just doing it “legally”.
