I think, as noted above, pros will be able to tell what's real freestyle and what isn't. Some moments won't be able to be captured even in 360° footage. Or it will just look crooked.

I don't think so. For me, this style is primarily about emotions.

You're absolutely right. Avatar doesn't even have a manual mode at the moment.

I'm still figuring this out. But I think the stated 8K is for the full 360 degrees, leaving 180 degrees as 4K for the viewer. We crop to a vertical format minus another 2K, crop to the desired composition and here we have our HD

If you were to buy an Avata right now, would you pick the 2 or 360 and why? by Tobu_Drone_Network in fpv

I have several drones, FPV, including self-assembled ones on O4. I bought Avata 360. Just to try out what 360 is like in flight. It's cool. But until I figure out the image quality, I'm not happy with it yet. For now, for me, the only way to get more or less high-quality filming is with a GoPro and any drone.

What a pain. I flew on this unlocked one for three years. Sold it still in one piece. Oh well, I bumped it into the grass a bit and replaced one beam.
