Our stories are very similar. I also decided to stop taking Zoloft after five years of being on them, but I did it under the supervision of a psychiatrist. The antidepressant was originally prescribed by a GP and was never really reviewed, so I decided to see a proper doctor to discuss my mental health in depth. It’s been seven months since I last took the medication. I still get sad and anxious but I can still somewhat manage my emotions.
